Dear Stanhope Community Member,
We are pleased to announce that the Stanhope Public School District has been designated as "high performing" by the State of New Jersey. Our district has recently undergone a QSAC review (Quality Single Accountability Continuum) where we have been measured in five performance areas: Instruction and Program, Fiscal Management, Governance, Operations and Personnel. We scored 80% or higher in each of these categories, which places us in the "high performing" category.
We congratulate our students, faculty, staff and the entire school community on this accomplishment.

All of a sudden, it's 2012! With barely a chance to catch our collective breath, we're back to a full and exciting schedule.
January has already seen our eighth graders visit Lenape Valley Regional High School to preview what's in store for them next year. For those parents, I'm sure it seems like only yesterday that they were dropping their children off at the kindergarten door. We've also been enjoying our boys and girls basketball teams as they take on our neighboring schools under the talented management of coaches Jason Doniloski and Raina Bartelsen. It's great to see their enthusiasm.
Believe it or not, we've already had numerous meetings about the 2012-13 school year with a look towards expanding our program offerings and tailoring our instruction to meet the needs of all our students. We'll be posting news on both fronts as it develops.
We have some enjoyable social events coming up sponsored by our ever-generous HSA. Winter Wonderland on January 27 promises to be a fun-filled evening, and we're looking forward to Family Bingo, always a great time. We hope that many of you will join us.
As always, I welcome your dropping by with questions or comments, or just to say hello. It's always a pleasure to see you.
Best,
Dr. Maria Cleary

Hello,
I wanted to take a minute to let you know that we have completed the second year of our 5 year curriculum revision cycle. Our tech department is in the process of putting the revised curricula on the website.
The second part of the Sussex County Child Assault Prevention "No More Bullies, No More Victims" program is taking place. The School Safety Team held its second meeting in January and we will host an additional meeting in May to review the findings of our climate survey from the CAP program.
Additionally we have installed 5 new interactive white boards.
If you have questions please email me at ninskeep@stanhopeschools.org
Regards,
Nadia Inskeep
