I have been teaching at Valley Road School for 12 years and really enjoy teaching at Stanhope. I have a degree in Elementary Education from Centenary College with a concentration in Mathematics. Prior to graduating, I completed my Student Teaching at Valley Road. After graduating I went on to be a substitute teacher and was offered a maternity leave position at Stanhope School. After completing the maternity leave, I became a full-time teacher, teaching 4th and 5th-grade math before becoming a 5th Grade Teacher. I really enjoy working with my 5th Grade students and creating a fun, safe and educational learning experience.When I am not in school I enjoy reading, being outside and traveling. From a young age, I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. I loved to play school with the kids who lived around me. When I was offered the position at Stanhope it was a dream come true and I enjoy every minute of it. I always tell my students that "if you put your mind to it, work hard and never give up, your dreams will come true."Please contact me with any questions or concerns that arise throughout the school year.
