Grade 1

Art, Music & the Masters

In first grade, students will be studying many masters, their styles, and techniques as we continue to explore various mediums in the art room. The musical series, Songs in the Key of Art (Greg Percy) will be used to further enhance our knowledge of these famous artists. Masters studied at this level could include VanGogh, Rosseau, Picasso, Calder, Warhol, Monet, and/or Pollack to name a few.
