Grade 7

Drawing Class

In seventh grade, students will be concentrating on drawing skills. Drawings will be contained in journals, and class projects will teach many methods and drawing practices, including grid, still life, perspective, symmetrical and life drawing. A project on Color Theory will provide a more in-depth look at this important element of art.  Students will utilize all previous class knowledge to create pieces that demonstrate their understanding of the principles and elements of art, while developing and demonstrating a unique style of their own.
