Mrs. DiCataldo is a graduate of Kittatinny Regional High School, who has continued her education, following a short time in The United States Army, at Montclair State University earning a Bachelors of Art degree in Human Ecology; Child Life Specialist. During her time at Montclair, she worked in the corporate sector for the Eckerd Corporation and Harmon Stores, Inc. as a manager and requisitioner.
Following her graduation from M.S.U., Mrs. DiCataldo obtained her certification in both general education and special education, and most recently earned her Masters of Arts degree in Education Leadership from Saint Peter’s University.
Mrs. DiCataldo has taught language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, health, character education and social skills in grades K-12, in both the general and special education classroom settings. Her core experiences have been rooted in the third and fourth grade, K-12 autism classrooms and K-5 LLD classrooms. Prior to Stanhope, she was employed in the Woodland Park, Morris Plains and Sparta school districts. During that time she had served in many roles and on various committees, supporting both the students and their families, as well as the community.
Mrs. DiCataldo lives in Fredon Township with her husband, James and son, Carter and their silver labrador, Spark. She spends her time being with her family, friends and students, and also enjoys nature, yoga, travel, photography, research and cheering for her son on the wrestling mat and soccer/baseball fields. In addition, she has also been known to have been seen riding quads and snowboarding!
